3-D CARBON FIBER DRY GT-STYLE REAR WING

3-D CARBON FIBER DRY GT-STYLE REAR WING
3-D DRY CARBON FIBER GT-STYLE REAR WING Manufactured using an advanced high-pressure (dry carbon) molding process to achieve the ultra-light weight carbon fiber skimboards and "fluid" form Design inspired by Formula One cars! One of the lightest carbon fiber skimboards and most flexible wings available! Groundbreaking manufacturing technology also creates a wing that's flexible yet rigid without the need for internal stiffeners. Pure (dry) carbon fiber construction carbon fiber skimboards and hollow interior makes this wing far more aerodynamically efficient than standard (wet-laid) carbon fiber wings. Wave-like design captures the look you want while channeling airflow to ensure equal distribution of downforce for high-speed stability carbon fiber skimboards and reduced coefficient of drag. Downforce is easily adjustable—simply adjust the CNC-machined black anodized aluminum rudders to one of 3 different angles. Overall length: 58". Rudder heights: 7.8", 9.2" or 11.7". Shipped separately from factory. NOTE: SKU numbers ending in F are factory shipped carbon fiber skimboards and may take a little longer to reach you.

Carbon fiber reinforced plastic - Carbon fiber reinforced plastic or (CFRP or CRP), is a strong, light and very expensive composite material or fiber reinforced plastic. Similar to glass-reinforced plastic, which is sometimes simply called fiberglass, the composite material is commonly referred to by the name of ...

Carbon fiber - Carbon fiber can refer to carbon filament thread, or to felt or woven cloth made from those carbon filaments. By extension, it is also used informally to mean any composite material made with carbon filament; for more on that application, see graphite-reinforced ...

Reinforced carbon-carbon - Reinforced Carbon-Carbon (carbon-carbon or RCC) is a composite material consisting of carbon fiber reinforcement in a matrix of graphite, often with a silicon carbide coating to prevent oxidation. It was developed for the nose cones of intercontinental ballistic missiles, and is most ...

Basalt fiber - Basalt fiber or fibre is a material made from extremely fine fibers of basalt, which is composed of the minerals plagioclase, pyroxene, and olivine. It is similar to carbon fibre and fiberglass, having better physicomechanical properties than fiberglass, but being significantly cheaper than carbon fibre.

Written by three Bell Labs pioneers, the book contains a new index covering all four volumes, extensive chapter glossaries, and a wealth of current references to guide you to even more sources of information.Volume IV: Fiber Optics and Nonlinear Optics includes articles that cover: *Fiber optics communications, technologies, and systems*Solitons, gratings, amplifiers, modulators, and detectors for fiber-optic systems*Fiber-based couplers, isolators, MUX, and deMUX*Time-domain multiplexed (TDM) and wavelength-domain multiplexed (WDM) networks*Fiber-optic links for telecom, datacom, and analog signaling*Optical fiber sections and infrared fibers*The Raman effect with tables of shifts, photorefractivity, laser damages, and the generation of other wavelength light sourcesThe Optical Society of America, this definitive work includes all the information you need to start solving problems in optics, from design of systems and components to day-today laboratory research and development. Recent advances in the development of low-loss optical fibers have revolutionized the field of telecommunications, and fiber-based networks form a key part of international communications systems. The output is savedin a file which can be read by any spreadsheet or plotting package for graphical representation of the interrelation of materials properties, optical properties, and systems aspects of optical amplification. In later chapters they cover optical sources, optical detectors, and fiber-optic communication system design. Its 27 all-new chapters--contributed by the Specialty Fiber Group of Lucent Technologies). It will be an ideal textbook for undergraduate or graduate students taking courses in optical fiber communications, photonics, or optoelectronics. The authors begin by setting out the basic propagation characteristics of single mode and multimode optical fibers. This powerful numerical simulation software allows the reader to explore on his or her own the concepts of amplifier performance discussed in the development of low-loss optical fibers have revolutionized the field of telecommunications, and fiber-based networks form a key
